Videogame Arcade publicado há 35 anos: Karate Blazers (c) 1991 Video System Company, Limited. Um jogo de luta com rolagem horizontal para 1 a 4 jogadores. Cada personagem jogável (escolhido entre Mark, Glen, Akira e Gil) chuta e dá socos em vários níveis repletos de inimigos. Além de chutar e socar, cada personagem também tem seu próprio 'ataque especial'; um movimento que fere vários inimigos na tela ao custo de parte da saúde do jogador. Embora não seja de forma alguma original (tirando grande parte de sua inspiração de “Final Fight” da Capcom), Karate Blazers é extremamente jogável e muito rápido e frenético, com a quantidade de inimigos na tela às vezes esmagadora. Os gráficos também são bem desenhados e bem animados. - TÉCNICO - CPU principal: Motorola 68000 (@ 10 Mhz) CPU de som: Zilog Z80 (@ 4 Mhz) Chips de som: Yamaha YM2610 (@ 8 Mhz) Jogadores: 4 Controle: joystick de 8 direções. Botões: 4 - Curiosidades - Lançado em agosto de 1991 no Japão. O chefe da 3ª etapa é inspirado em Sato, personagem do filme ‘Black Rain’ (dirigido por Ridley Scott e interpretado por Michael Douglas e Andy Garcia). Sato foi interpretado pelo ator japonês Yusaku Matsuda, falecido logo após a realização do filme. Até a fase em que você luta contra o chefe (a fábrica) parece de alguma forma inspirada no cenário do filme (em uma cena do filme, Nick - interpretado por Michael Douglas - tenta derrotar Sato em uma siderúrgica, bastante semelhante à fase do jogo). - FUNCIONÁRIOS -
