Foi lançado no Japão em outubro de 1980 e na América do Norte pela Game Plan em outubro de 1981. Ele roda no hardware Namco Galaxian, baseado no microprocessador Zilog Z80, com um microprocessador extra para acionar um DAC para fala; foi um dos primeiros jogos a ter síntese de fala. Uma porta MSX foi lançada no Japão em 1984.
